Organize a laughter-filled assembly programme during the Water Week 

• Call for registrations of teams who would want to participate in a Mad Ads competition.  
• Select an ad theme and give it to the teams a day before the competition.
• Laugh your way through the next day.

Your ad theme can be based on products

Teams can be asked to come up with any innovative product that conserves / purifies water and make an ad for it. Or you could have them select from a given set of products like say

• Flush tanks
• Low flow taps and shower heads
• Waterless cleaners for veggies and grains
• Cookware that cooks food without using any water
• ‘Dry’ washing machines
• Flowering plants that don’t require any watering
• Water purifying tablets
• Antibacterial hand-wash gel …………………..

Your ad theme could also be based on a Campaign

They can decide their own campaign or you can have them pick from a list that may look like this

• Save the lakes campaign
• Clean Ganga (or a river of your choice) project
• Protect the turtles (Olive Ridley)……………….

We, at the Schools Water Portal think that it would be more fun if the children were to come up with their own innovative products or campaigns (not from the lists put up here) or even a completely different ad theme.
